Montessori School of Salt Lake Inc. is located in the Millcreek Township of the Salt Lake Valley, by the Wasatch Mountains (East Bench), and a few blocks west from the entrance to Millcreek Canyon. It is a spacious bricked home located on the south side of 3300 South at 2806 East. It has been adapted for the comfort of classrooms with four learning classroom areas, ample space for play activity and rest. The classrooms are organized and setup for the education of children, ages 2-8 yrs of age, preschool thru' third grade. In the backyard compound, remote from the busy street is a safe playground area for children's outdoor experiences. School Year starts on the First Tuesday following the Labor Day weekend and continues through late May. We observe National and State Holidays and the school is closed for the Christmas Holidays and re-opens at the beginning of the New Year. Timely notices are posted at the entrances to the school to keep parents informed.
Children break away in between periods of activity to comfort themselves, move around and be at ease compose themselves for their next activity. We wish to offer you an 'encouraging view' of how we function organized and productively in the classroom environment, each day after, that we request visits by appointment. Thank you.
Children's safety and security in our daily care at the school, is our primary concern. A copy of the State Rules & Regulations with safety guidelines set out by the State of Utah Child Care Services is available at the school for review.
* Visitors are permitted by appointment only. Should you desire to visit the school and observe our children engaged at work in tranquilness, please make an appointment for your visit ahead of time
. We do not encourage uninvited guests at our school at all times. 'No Solicitation' signs are posted at the school entrances to prevent being disrupted by visitors.

'Welcome open doors' to freely allow visitors drop-in during school hours would cause children to be distracted from their assigned activities, and also impose upon teachers valued time. It can also place children at risk in the 'present day' of restlessness in our changing world. No single child is left out of sight at any moment in time, and is a serious challenge, to a degree no lesser than what all parents exercise with children of their own.
Summer School and Day Camp programs follow the Memorial Day Holiday. Field trips and swimming classes are arranged and conducted with the express permission of each and all parents. Children are transported to and from field events by staff members and with help from parents. Parents are very much encouraged and welcomed to participate with any assisstance they can provide with all events.
Child Care is provided at the school between 7:00am to 8.30am and from 3.45pm to 6:00pm each day. We do our best to excel each day and seek the help of the guidelines outlined for Day Care, for the well being of the children and all occupants. Our sole interest is in serving and caring for the children and inspiring them to learn in the early years of their waking up life. We seek to earn a rewarding compensation for our efforts, and find most handsomly rewarded to observe our children achieve their goals at the end of the day, and at the end of each term of school. ~
